The Waterlily series is inspired by the landscapes of Jahangirnagar University and my personal connection to the haor region of Bangladesh, where I was born and raised. As a riverine country, Bangladesh is closely associated with the waterlily, its national flower, found across wetlands and haors. Childhood memories of collecting waterlilies continue to shape my artistic vision. Through this series, I explore themes of nature, memory, identity, and the enduring relationship between people and their environment.
